Iouri Grichetchkine has crafted a set of fresh arrangements of beloved hymns of the faith. The influences in the music are diverse: from classical to gospel and light jazz. In particular, a number of the hymns receive a treatment with a different character than many other organ arrangements of a given tune, making these settings especially useful at filling in the gaps within one's hymn-based organ library.
