Kyle Cronan, MBA - President and Owner

Kyle is the President and owner of Midwest Sheet Music. He periodically worked at the store for the past 13 years while managing the financial services office for the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. Kyle oversees all administrative and financial matters and has a knowledge of literature for piano, organ, and voice. He has degrees/certificates from Southeast Missouri State University, Webster University, University of Missouri - St. Louis, and Washington University in St. Louis. His private music instructors have been Kathy Lawton-Brown, Jerry Chilcutt, Gerald Ette, Ronald Hall, Robert Ray, John Shelton, Alla Voskovoynikova, and Margaret Wilson

Jeff Girard, MM - Wind Band and Instrumental Specialist

Jeff Girard is a wind band conducting specialist who has been working with wind band literature for over 25 years. He’s particularly adept at tracking down hard to find, obscure and foreign wind band titles, as well as finding the hidden gems amongst all the hundreds of new wind band works published each year. He also directs a local community band, BandTogether, during the year.

Ian Buschman - Shipping & Receiving, Jazz Specialist

Ian Buschmann is the Shipping and Receiving specialist and keeps orders moving smoothly for customers. Ian is a 2020 graduate of Webster University with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies/Performance. His passion is playing jazz saxophone and he can be frequently found playing gigs across the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Jim Kerfoot - Band and Solo Ensemble Specialist

Jim Kerfoot is Jeff’s right hand man and brings nearly two decades of experience with instrumental music sales with him to the store. One of Jim’s monumental tasks includes the organizing of thousands of solo / ensemble pieces that are on the Texas, Florida, and Missouri state lists. Jim is also proud veteran of the U.S. Army's Band Program and former Band Master.

Mark Schellenberg- Board member and Trustee

Mark stepped down from being President of Midwest in 2022. He still helps in all areas periodically and ran the store for over 23 years. He attended the University of Tulsa with a music scholarship and obtained a business major, then went for his MBA at University of North Carolina Wilmington. He plays saxophone with the Route 66 jazz band and clarinet with the Meramec Community Concert Band. Mark advises Kyle on all administrative and financial matters and has a good knowledge of all areas of music literature.  He has a huge passion for playing jazz. 



Cindy Schellenberg – Board member and Trustee

Cindy retired from Midwest Sheet Music in 2022.  She is Mark’s wife and right hand woman that kept outgoing orders organized and running smoothly. Cindy earned a Bachelor of Music Education with an emphasis in flute, from the University of Tulsa. In fact, this is where Mark and Cindy met. She taught band several years in Oklahoma and St. Louis. She still assists with the Community Music School’s Flute Camp each summer. Currently she plays flute and piccolo with the Meramec Symphonic and University City Summer bands.
