Johann Cristoph Pezel, Ed Hirschman

This is a trumpet duet version of Pezel Sonatina No. 61 which appears on The New York trumpet Ensemble recording called A Festival of Trumpets. The piece has an A-A-B-B form. The second time each section is played, the musicians are encouraged to add ornaments. This is a fun and beautiful piece. It may be played by 2 C trumpets or 2 Bb trumpets without transposing the notes on the page.
