Roumanian Folk Dances
$110.00
By Bela BartokArranged by Bruce R. Smith
Roumanian Folk Dances is transcribed from the 1918 piano version. Here is an opportunity to perform the music of Bela Bartok. Taken from the piano piece of the same title, this is a very musical transcription which will give the conductor opportunities to demonstrate his musical skill and the technique of his ensemble. On the Virginia Music Educations Association Band list, Grade V The Indiana Wind Symphony is in its 12th full concert season in 2010-2011. The IWS is composed of professional musicians and talented amateur musicians from the central Indiana area. In the spring of 2011 they will move to the Palladium, the new concert hall in Carmel, Indiana. IWS Music Director Charles P. Conrad attended the Indiana University School of Music, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Trumpet, studying with legendary trumpet professor William Adam. He earned a Master's degree in Conducting from Butler University and a Doctorate in Conducting from Ball State University.
