The third movement, The Alodae, Assault upon the God, is an exciting piece for concert band. The piece opens with a large majestic presentation. This is followed by a transition into a semi-march style segment. A slower choral segment follows and the piece concludes with a quick and forceful finish. This selection is a big challenge for both the conductor and the players.
