The first complete editions of the Panofka Vocalises for trumpet, trombone and tuba are here. We also publish the piano accompaniments for these fine studies. Panofka was a student of the great Bordogni. His music has been widely used by vocalists for more than a century. These songs are generally shorter than the Bordogni compositions. They are very musical and intelligently progressive. Young students will benefit from this introduction to the singing legato style. The range is not extreme, but both range and key signatures advance progressively throughout the volume. Advanced and professional-level musicians will find these studies an important addition to their library. By memorizing each etude and performing it with the piano accompaniment, new levels of artistic achievement may be reached.
