High Register Development for tuba volumes 1, 2 & 3 provides the knowledge necessary for tubists to build and master the upper register. Book 1 focuses on building the foundation to support upper register expansion. Without a solid foundation in place, it is not possible to achieve the best results. Players at all levels should begin with book 1. Even when working in books 2 and 3 it will be necessary to continue practice in book 1. Use Book 2 to expand range on both low and high tubas. This book progresses into the upper register of BBb, CC, Eb and F tubas. Detailed practice instructions are included in books 1 and 2.
