Takakuni Idi

A medley of four Japanese nursery rhymes and songs.
This medley, which begins with "hometown", turns around while thinking about the scenery of Japan's "hometown", and returns to "hometown" and ends.

At the same time, it represents the transition of the four seasons in Japan. The songs change key, change nuance, and develop one after another. We hope you will enjoy the transition.

This medley was commissioned by D-SAX and premiered at the 6th concert (2014).
At the time of the premiere, the arrangement was divided into a maximum of 11 parts, but for this publication, it has been partially revised so that it can be performed by 8 people.
