It is a masterpiece of composer B. Bartok who represents the 20th century. A one-act stage music based on the Hungarian playwright Rengel's "Chinese Mysterious Official Grotesque Pantomime". Although it was premiered in Cologne and then performed in Prague, it was repeatedly banned, and it is said that for a long time it was not possible to "perform in accordance with the original work" due to the immorality and rawness of the content. And in such a flow, the suite version was conceived in the hope that it would be staged in some form. There are 3 rogues, 3 ducks, 3 barkers, 3 murders, etc. You can feel the strong commitment to "3".
This arrangement has been completely revised based on what was written for the brass band competition for the Saitama Prefectural Omiya High School brass band club, and has been completed as a new all-song version of the suite. Therefore, there are some parts that are quite difficult to express in a brass band formation, but I would like you to take on the challenge. For the orchestral score that I referred to in arranging, I used the study score published by Universal Publishing Co., Ltd. at first, and the one published by Zenon Music Co., Ltd. for the revision. Therefore, I would like you to refer to the Japanese translation of the diatonic version for the notes on the notes on the score and how to play the instruments.
