This arrangement (most likely written by Billy Strayhorn) was recorded by Duke Ellington in 1961 and 1962 in the studio in New York. The arrangement begins with a piano solo accompanied by the rhythm section. Then there are solo choruses for trombone and alto saxophone before the band comes in with the melody. Also featured are solos for tenor saxophone and clarinet. This is a great piece for your next holiday concert!
