The work is truly relevant, offering present-day applications to our lives. It is thematic, emphasizing the joy that God is bringing to the world by the birth of his son. The music is fresh, introducing completely new compositions and exciting orchestrations. This is an exuberant celebration of the joy of Christmas that includes solo opportunities for narrator, and the roles of Mary and Joseph. The work may be accompanied with keyboard, optional orchestration, or the CD accompaniment.
