This medium-level piece draws inspiration from Latin rhythms, including the Rumba and Guaguancó. Raymond adapts the traditional drumline into a duet format featuring a snare drummer and horizontal bass drummer with a mounted cowbell. The snare drum performer has numerous opportunities to demonstrate their chops, while the bass drum performer locks in and embellishes the groove with the linear writing style.
